The women's lacrosse team puckers for profit in a kissing booth outside Bruno's.
For the bargain price of only one dollar, several lucky Penn State Erie students were
able to receive a blissful kiss around Valentine's Day to help raise money for equip
ment to be used in the upcoming season. The lacrosse team is one of several
Behrend organizations using inventive methods to raise both funds and club aware
ness this year.

Behrend Briefs
Dear Editor,
As per the SGA Constitution, I am required to notify our campus newspaper that an Amendment to
the SGA Constitution has been proposed.
The current Student Government Asociation Constitution states the following in the section that is
to be amended:
"To be eligible to run for the Student Government Association President or Vice President, both
candidates must hold at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA. This GPA must be upheld for the duration of the
school-year term. The Director of Student Affairs will verify eligibility within one week of submis
sion of a completed petition."
The proposed amendment to the Student Government Association Constitution is as follows:
"Whereas the student government is responsible for being the voice of the students;
Whereas the student government has the power to ratify its constitution by a 2/3 vote of the voting
members;
Hereby request the elimination the GPA requirement placed on Presidential and Vice Presidential
candidates."
This amendment was introduced by Senator Zachary Mentz at the SGA Meeting on February 8,
2006. This amendment will be voted on during the SGA Meeting on February 22, 2006.
Sincerely,
Alexander Henderson--
