On Dec. 2, the Lady Lions traveled south for two games in two days. First, the team squared off against Pitt-Greensburg for a hard-fought contest but lost by a score of 75- 71. Mays also limits her turnovers, which is vital' for this young team to do in order to be successful. She only has four turnovers in four games. Mays was also selected as one of the "best of the best" for the week by the AMCC with her performances against Pitt-Greensburg and Frostburg State. She averaged 16 points and 10 rebounds, which amounted to an average of a dou ble-double. Sophomore guard Jessica Serafin is second in scoring with 11.5 points per game. She is shooting a siz zling 12 for 27 (44 percent) from three point range. Junior forward Rachel Slomski is third in scoring with 10.8 points per game and second in total rebounds with 26. Other primary contributors include freshman forward Victoria Inns, who averages 7.8 points per game; sopho more forward Annemarie Priester who averages 8.5 points in conference play; and senior guard Kristie Connolly, who comes off the bench to provide a spark on defense.
