Students who find themselves uneasy in front of their future employers in an unfamiliar situation are welcome to take part in the event "Networking Part 1 Ties to Help You Succeed" on Tuesday from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in Reed 3. Within the hour, students are given a chance to learn the skills they need to network with others. A positive net working relationship requires time and commitment to build what job seekers need to establish trust and show interest in their audience's concerns. A demon stration of construction relationships by showing genuine interest and making connections beyond an introduction will be shown to students. Along with the techniques students acquired in Part 1 of the program, they are encouraged to attend the second ses sion, "Networking Part 2 Learn from Experience" on April 4 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Logan House. This session will give students the opportunity to practice their networking skills with the Behrend alumni. The alumni will share their observations and suggestions for ways students can con tinue to improve their skills. "The students benefit from the prac tice and experience of talking to people on a professional level in a conversa tional setting rather than the strict con fines of an interview," said Grimaldi. A ratio of two to three students per alumni is expected at the Logan House event in order to make it very realistic for students to go to a social networking event and practice their skills. p Alb' i zza rip",,_ Lunch Buffet Everyday 11:30 am - 1:30 pm All All You Can Eat Pizza, Pasta & Salad $5 99 1 99 • Adults Children apes 4-10 I=l =I MI MEI ME IMII MI I=ll MIR En =I ENO Mr ll=l IM INN =I MI Mlll IM .
