Penn State Behrend is implementing a storm water management plan to deal
with water overflow during storms. The plan has been set into motion be
cause of new federal rules and regulations. Behrend operates a "regulated
small municipal seperate sewer system" which, under the new laws, is re
quired to have a storm water management program. Dr. Thomas Wortman,
special projects assistant to the dean, said the plan will coincide with current
activities by the Greener Behrend Task Force. A public meeting concerning
the plan will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m. in Reed 117.
Additional information will be posted at http://greencampus.psu.edu

A Closer
Look
On Feb. 12, six resident assistants dressed up in rented wedding gowns for the
Bridal Tea. The six were escorted by six male RAs and took part in a fashion
show at the Smith Chapel. David's Bridal donated the wedding gowns and
tuxedos for the evening.
From Left, Rachel Yates, Christian 0' Connor, Karena Bibbins-McKeever, Shirelle
Evans, Cassandra Horneman and Jeannie Roos stop to pose for a picture during the
bridal tea.
