On April 20 at 9 p.m., Penn State Behrend will open its
Mehalso Observatory to celebrate Astronomy Day. This day
was created to share the excitement of astronomy with
people around the world, and usually occurs sometime
between mid : April and mid-May, on a Saturday near or
before the first quarter moon. For more information, contact
the Penn State Erie School of Science at 898-6105.
On Wednesday, April 24, Behrend will celebrate
Water Day on the back patio located behind Reed.
Students will receive a free beach scene globe, which
was handcrafted by the Student Activities Staff, to
show support for Earth Week. All are invited to attend.

Back the Night” march on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
Perry Square in downtown Erie. This event will speak
out against negative attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors
that promote rape, stalking, harassment, and other
types of violence. For more information on participat
