This day was created to share the excitement of astronomy with people around the world, and usually occurs sometime between mid : April and mid-May, on a Saturday near or before the first quarter moon. For more information, contact the Penn State Erie School of Science at 898-6105. On Wednesday, April 24, Behrend will celebrate Water Day on the back patio located behind Reed. Students will receive a free beach scene globe, which was handcrafted by the Student Activities Staff, to show support for Earth Week.
